Today, August 23, the Embassy celebrated the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine.

These days for the whole world the flag of Ukraine has become a symbol of courage and indomitability, a symbol of people's fight for the right to choose their own path and the right to self-determination. Today, the Ukrainian flag is the flag of freedom.

Under its colors, brave Ukrainian defenders protect the future of our nation. Our country's path to victory is paved by its colors.

People all over the world are unfurling Ukrainian flags in support and solidarity with the fight that our people are waging against the invaders.

And today we proudly raise the flag over the diplomatic institution of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
