Dear friends, dear colleagues, dear Ukrainians.
Today I have the honor to congratulate you on the Independence Day of our country. On this day in 1991, we made a choice. The nation made a choice. We are Ukrainians. And we are independent. It is impossible to list all the cases when history has put Ukrainians in front of the need to prove their right to self-determination. But we are confident and proud to say that every time we met these challenges with our heads up high and every time Ukrainians proved to the whole world our power to pave our own path.
Today we are going through difficult times. Every day, our brave defenders stand up for our nation's right to be who we are. Thanks to their determination, bravery and heroism, every day is a day of independence.
Today I thank everyone who risk their lives for the sake of the independence of our country.
I thank everyone who works for victory in the rear.
I thank all Ukrainians who, being abroad in various parts of the world, remember that they are Ukrainians and support us.
Ages of glorious history are behind us. Before us is the right to choose the future for our children. The future of independence.
Today Ukraine is 32. Ukraine is young. Ukraine is strong. Ukraine is victorious.
Glory to Ukraine!
