On August 16, Ambassador Designate of Ukraine Ivan Kholostenko gave an interview to the authoritative media African Leadership Magazine.

After that, a meeting of the Ambassador with the heads of the media's office in Abuja took place within the walls of the Embassy.

During the meeting, the Ambassador thanked the representatives of the publication for their interest in Ukraine. The Ambassador informed the journalists about the new African vector of Ukraine's foreign policy, the current state of agreements regarding the functioning of the grain corridor and Russia's withdrawal from the grain agreement, the destruction of grain by the aggressor in Ukrainian ports and about "Grain From Ukraine" initiative, under which this fall, Nigeria will receive 25,000 tons of grain.

Particular attention was paid to the Summits of First Ladies and Gentlemen, and to the Summit of the Crimea Platform.

The representatives of African Leadership Magazine were particularly interested in the details of the implementation of the points of the Peace Formula of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

At the end of the meeting, the media representatives thanked the Ambassador for the hospitality and expressed hope for further cooperation.
