At a time of uncertainty, disinformation, and war crimes, it is more urgent than ever to help the next generation grow up understanding that peace is a value worth protecting — and education is our most powerful tool to make this possible.
Developed by Ukrainian teachers, education experts, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, this lesson was first presented at the 5th Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen.
What does it offer?
A unique opportunity to hear directly from Ukrainian teenagers who have spent 12 years growing up under the shadow of war — their challenges, hopes, and dreams for the future. It reflects Ukraine’s experience of preserving humanity and values despite wartime realities and serves as a powerful reminder that peace is a value worth protecting and can never be taken for granted.
Who is it for?
Teachers of history, geography, languages, philosophy, and ethics, mentors and tutors all around the world, and Ukrainian teenagers temporarily studying abroad.
