Russia attacked several regions of Ukraine on the night of September 21, killing one person and injuring at least nine others.
In Zaporizhzhia, five people were injured in a massive overnight attack on the city. Two residential buildings, a shopping centre, and the oldest building of Zaporizhzhia National University were damaged, with fires breaking out.
In Kharkiv region, one person was killed and three injured after Russian drones struck Lozova. Residential buildings and railway infrastructure were damaged, and fires broke out. In Kirovohrad region, one person was injured when a Russian drone hit an infrastructure facility in Kropyvnytskyi district.
In Kyiv region, Russian attacks caused fires at a service station in Bucha district and a sawmill in Fastiv district. In Odesa region, Russia struck warehouse facilities, causing a large fire.
Russia continues to choose war over peace. The response must be stronger pressure on Moscow to stop its aggression.
