The event aimed to create a platform for open dialogue between Ukrainian diplomats, youth, and civil society representatives.

The discussion focused on Ukraine–Africa cooperation in combating disinformation. The Ambassador emphasized that Ukraine has extensive experience in countering Russian propaganda and manipulation and noted that African countries also face large-scale disinformation challenges.

Together with the participants, the Ambassador discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian and Nigerian media, explored prospects for joint information campaigns to promote truth, and expressed strong support for media literacy education programs for young people.

The Ambassador underlined that informational solidarity between Ukraine and Africa should become a cornerstone in a world of global crises.
