On 23 May 2026, on the occasion of Africa Day, the Embassy of Ukraine in Nigeria organized an educational event for Nigerian youth in cooperation with the Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nigeria and Abuja Film Village.

As part of the event, representatives of proactive Nigerian youth engaged in the film industry, blogging, content creation, and media and social media activities were invited to participate. Both offline and online participation opportunities were provided for attendees.

Throughout the day, representatives of Abuja Film Village, together with specially invited Ukrainian experts, conducted a series of masterclasses dedicated to content creation and promotion, social media account development, as well as technical aspects of videography, sound recording, and production team operations.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Nigeria expresses its sincere gratitude to the event’s partners: the Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Nigeria, for supporting the organization of the event, the management of Abuja Film Village for supporting the initiative and providing the venue, as well as special thanks to the lecturers for delivering insightful and highly professional masterclasses for the participants.
