Ambassador of Ukraine to Nigeria Ivan Kholostenko held a meeting with the leadership of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) of Nigeria.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for developing Ukrainian-Nigerian cooperation in vocational and technical education, including opportunities for exchanging experience, training specialists, and implementing joint educational initiatives.

The Ambassador highlighted the strengths of Ukraine’s vocational and technical education system, its practical orientation, and its ability to adapt to evolving labour market needs, including amid Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine.

Particular attention was paid to opportunities for applying Ukraine’s experience to skills development and the training of qualified professionals in line with the needs of the Nigerian labour market.
