Ambassador Ivan Kholostenko held a meeting with the Director of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Amb. Anthony Alonwu.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of Ukrainian-Nigerian cooperation within international organizations, particularly the United Nations, and exchanged views on key matters of the international agenda.

Special attention was paid to the importance of upholding the principles of the UN Charter, respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, and strengthening international peace and security.

The Ambassador thanked the Nigerian side for the constructive dialogue and expressed hope for further strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and Nigeria within international organizations.
