Today on the Commemoration Day of Crimean Tatar Genocide, PEN Ukraine together with the Crimean House, Crimea_SOS, the Center for Civil Liberties, and the Crimea Realities initiate a campaign “The Week of Solidarity with Kirimli.”

We are starting this week with an online flash mob in support of Crimean Tatar, which is going to last until 24 May.

To join the flash mob, do these simple steps:

⓵ take a photo with the Crimean Tatars’ symbol, tamğa – either printed or hand-drawn;
⓶ publish it on social media with hashtags #QirimtatarSurgunu and #RememberGenocideMay18;
⓷ along with the photo tell in your post how you found out about the deportation of Crimean Tatars or first discovered the history or culture of Kirimli;
⓸ invite your friends to join the flash mob.
