On July 12, the Ambassador Designate of Ukraine Mr. Ivan Kholostenko and Deputy Head International Affairs Department, Associate Professor of Sumy State University Dr. Tetyana Mayboroda together with the official Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce in Nigeria, Olena Nedryhailo, held a meeting with with Vice Chancellor of Bingham University Governing Council prof. W.B. Qurix and his colleagues.

The university has a long history of cooperation with Sumy State University. They are connected by friendly partnership relations, numerous joint projects and shared experience.

The full-scale invasion in Ukraine caused a number of difficulties in the field of education. However, this did not affect the willingness of Nigerian students to apply for studies in Ukraine. Likewise, it did not affect the readiness of Ukrainian universities to warmly welcome foreign students and provide quality education.

Now the establishment of partnership relations between the educational institu-tions of the two countries is particularly relevant.

During the meeting, Tetyana Mayboroda discussed with her Nigerian colleagues the issue of further cooperation and implementation of joint projects.

The Ambassador, in turn, assured the readiness of the Embassy to provide maximum assistance.
