24 February 2024 22:31

The movie was demonstrated for the first time in West Africa in cooperation with Olena Nedrygailo, the representative of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine in Nigeria and Polina Buchak, Ukrainian producer, director, member of the Razom for Ukraine team.

The Oscar-nominated film is a story of the twenty days spent by Mstyslav Chernov and his colleagues in Mariupol after Russia began its invasion of Ukraine. They continued their work in the siege and recorded footage that later became the defining images of the war: the death of children, a mass burial, a bombed-out maternity hospital and other horrors of Russian crimes.

The event was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian community, members of the foreign diplomatic corps, representatives of government and business circles of Nigeria and mass media.
