Today we celebrate May 9 as the Day of our mutual home - Europe.

For 2 years already, Ukraine stands strong to protect European peace, values and future.

Ambassador of Ukraine to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ivan Kholostenko, attended events dedicated to Europe Day organized by the Embassy of the European Union.

"It is very symbolic - noted the Ambassador - that this year Europe Day is held in the colors of the Ukrainian flag."

The Ambassador of the European Union to Nigeria, Mrs. Samuela Isopi, mentioned Ukraine in her speech and emphasized the unwavering support of the European Community.

Ukraine stays strong. EU stays strong. Ukraine is Europe.
