On September 7, the Embassy was visited by representatives of the News Central TV channel. Ambassador welcomed guests and gave a substantial and detailed interview, highlighting a number of topical issues on Ukraine.

Ensuring the food security of African countries and the support that Ukraine expects from its African partners became the overarching topic of the interview. In particular, discussion was about President Zelenskyy's humanitarian initiative "Grain From Ukraine", under which Nigeria receives 25,000 tons of grain, Russia's withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative, destruction of grain in ports and further sabotage of its transportation.

Ambassador noted that Russia was not the only participant of the Agreement and Ukraine, in partnership with the UN and Turkey, is currently looking for new transport routes. He assured that despite systematic attempts to destroy the infrastructure of Ukrainian ports, partners can rest assured, because grain will be delivered to countries that need it. They also discussed President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula and the possibility of African countries participating in its implementation, especially in terms of ensuring food security.

Particular attention was paid to the new pro-African direction of Ukrainian foreign policy and business trends of Ukraine.

At the end of the interview, Ambassador showed guests a map of the current situation at the front line, informing them about the successes of the Ukrainian army and the prospects of a counteroffensive operation.
