On December 20, 2018 Ambassador of Ukraine to Nigeria Valerii Aleksandruk held a press conference for representatives of Nigeria's leading mass media.

The event was attended by journalists from rating mass media: ’’The Guardian’’, ’’Leadership, ’’Vanguard’’, ’’News Agency of Nigeria’’, ’’Daily Trust’’, ’’This Day’’.

During the press conference, the Ambassador briefed the mass media representatives on the most pressing issues of the internal situation and international agenda of Ukraine.

In particular, the Ambassador informed the participants about the main elements of the UN General Assembly resolution of December 17, 2018, "Problem of the militarization of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol (Ukraine), as well as parts of the Black sea and the Sea of Azov", on the creation of a new united Orthodox Church in Ukraine and acquainted with ''Bulletin of Reforms in Ukraine'' for September - November 2018.
