On January 26, 2018 Ambassador of Ukraine to Nigeria Valerii Aleksandruk gave an interview to the state television channel "NTA".

In the interview, the Ambassador told the audience about the challenges on the way on European integration, current state and prospects of developing bilateral relations with Nigeria, as well as called on to increase pressure on Russia to stop the aggression against Ukraine.
