On November 15, 2017 Ambassador of Ukraine to Nigeria Valerii Alersandruk gave a lecture "Ukraine: Challenges on the Way to the European Union" to teachers and students of the Nile University in Abuja.
In his speech, the Ambassador of Ukraine told the audience about the history, culture of Ukraine, achievements for 26 years of Independence, successes in the path of European integration, the implementation of reforms, the fight against Russian aggression, the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations with Nigeria.
