The issues of intensification of Ukraine - Nigeria cooperation, in particular, the issue of cooperation between the parliaments of Ukraine and Nigeria were discussed during the meeting.

Special attention was paid to the issue of establishing the group for interparliamentary friendship with Ukraine in the National Assembly. The parties agreed to create an organizational initiative group to handle this issue.

The participants of the meeting discussed also the issue of participation of Ukrainian companies in infrastructure projects in Nigeria, in particular, in the renewal of work of the Metallurgical Process Plant at the town of Ajaokuta.  

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria was also informed about the Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.
