During the meeting the parties discussed the issues of intensification of Ukraine - Nigeria cooperation, in particular, the issue of cooperation between the parliaments of Ukraine and Nigeria.

Special attention was paid to the issue of participation of Ukrainian companies in infrastructure projects in Nigeria, in particular, in the renewal of work of the Metallurgical Process Plant at the town of Ajaokuta.           

The President of the Senate of Nigeria was also informed about the Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine.

The participants of the meeting discussed also the issue of establishing in the Senate of Nigeria the group for interparliamentary friendship with Ukraine.

The parties agreed to create an organizational initiative group in the Senate of Nigeria to handle this issue.
