On May 31, Kyiv Day, the 33rd charity sporting event, the “Chestnut Run,” will take place — an initiative that for over 30 years has brought people together to support pediatric cardiology in Ukraine.
This is one of the largest charitable projects in the country. Since 1993, it has united participants not only from Ukraine but from around the world to help children with heart conditions. In 2026, the funds raised will be used to purchase a video laryngoscope for the Center for Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
This year, the Run will once again be held in an online format. This means that anyone can join — regardless of where they are.
To take part in the “Chestnut Run,” you need to:
— register on the website: probig.in.ua
— choose a participation format (individual or team)
— make a charitable donation
— on May 31, go for a run or a walk in your city
Every year, thousands of Ukrainians abroad join the initiative — it is an opportunity not only to support an important cause but also to feel unity, even at a distance.
We invite the Ukrainian community in Georgia to join the “Chestnut Run” and run your route of kindness together with the whole world.
