On April 28, 2014, the leading Nigerian edition «Leadership» published the article of the Ambassador of Ukraine in Nigeria Valerii Vasyliev, "It’s Russian Military, not "Pro-Russian Forces".

Ukrainian diplomat noted that the Russian professional military and mercenaries are back on the razing tension in the Eastern regions of Ukraine, what is proved by maid photos and intercepted radio traffic.      

After the annexation of Crimea, the Kremlin is trying to implement a similar scenario in the East of Ukraine, deploying the agents and paying Ukrainian criminals and radicals to pose as “pro-Russian forces”.

Ambassador underlined that Ukraine will fight against such abuses, and will not allow to Russia paid strangers in green uniforms to scare Ukrainian people and to destroy their daily life.
